This module has been developed specifically for users who would like to control and manage their taxes. You have various options as shown below.

Configure Tally.ini file. :-

 
 

  • Unzip the file and copy both the image as well as the TCP file in you tally 9 Folder
  • Store / Copy the TDL file in the Tally 9.0 folder.
  • Open Tally.ini (i.e. configuration file) file from tally folder.



Change the following setting into ini file.

User TDL = Yes

; Tdl = <tdlfile.1>

Remove the semicolon (;;) and specify the TCP file name

For E.g.

Tdl = TDL1.tcp

Save Tally.ini file and close it.

 

You would be able to see the following Menu in your Tally if you have configured your above step

 


Clicking on the menu will take you here.



 

You can select the taxes which are applicable to you

 

You can view the taxes on a yearly basis and enter the date on which it was filed as well as the amount and then print the report as well for record.

 

Or you can also enter the monthly record

 

 

 

You can print all reports as desired this helps you in controlling and managing your dates in your accounting software only.

I have been lately very excited on the developments happening on the tally front. To create more excitement I am pleased to upload few of the regularly required customized modules by customers. You can download the module and use it as per the below instructions. Over the next few days II will post new files.

Module 1 : CONTACT ADDRESS BOOK.

This module will help you maintain your contact details of your debtors and creditors in tally. The download link is http://www.tally9.info/AddressBook.tcp

 

Steps 1:
Configure Tally.ini file. :-

 

  • Store / Copy the TDL file in the Tally 9.0 folder.
  • Open Tally.ini (i.e. configuration file) file from tally folder.



Change the following setting into ini file.

User TDL = Yes

; Tdl = <tdlfile.1>

Steps 2:
Configuration for activating Address Book Module. :-

  • Go to Gateway of Tally à Accounting features à Other Features.
  • Set “Yes” to “Maintain Contact List’ option as shown in the image below.


  • Now you will find a new Menu on Gateway of Tally à Contacts
  • Address book report shown as follows.
