Pushbrite is a trading firm which is into import and distribution of electronic items. Pushbrite sells Lighting and other Items Likes Emergency lights, LCD TV, speakers , mobile phones, sundries, cutlery items which are being imported from different corners of the world which goes under strict quality control before it is launched in India Market
The company has customers located all over the country and invoices and dispatches material to hundreds of customers daily. Items were also sold on credit at times, and hence it was a major challenge for the company to keep its customers updated about the outstanding and payments. Also it required an automated system that would be able to send updates regarding dispatch/ delivery of items at its site.
Pushbrite is currently using Tally.ERP9 for accounts and inventory.
The Business Challenge
The customer base of Pushbrite is spread across the country. Innumerous enquiries are received by the marketing team everyday for the various items they deal in. Orders are booked and invoices are generated daily at the company’s offices. The products are packed and dispatched via various transporters.
After the products are dispatched, information is received by the marketing / accounts office. The customers are then notified about the dispatch details. Also, as the products are sold on credit at times, it was a major challenge to keep the customers informed about the outstanding payments. Added to this, the information pertaining to the courier/ transporter needed to be provided to the customer.
